After completing our questionnaire and deciding to definitely go with the indie genre we are now going to look deeper into indie conventions. I have choosen to to look at this particular advert as its use of colour is significant to the genre, the tones of green highlight their style and the picture focuses on the bandmembers features. We can also see the band's name at the top of the advert to signify that this advert is to promote them. I have also copied a picture of their album 'Notion' which again focuses on the colour green. This also shows branding as they frequently use this colour so we know to assoiciate it with them. I have also found photographs of performances by the band where the backlights are green, to again signify the bands brand and image.
